Mail server configuration
The mail server for Cognos is configured in IBM Cognos Configuration.
To provide Cognos 8 content access to the mail server and ability to send notifications, go to Data Access -> Notification.
In order to send mail notifications from Cognos, it is required to define the SMTP mail server, provide account name and password and choose a default sender.
